Bibi Alhaja Bijoux jewellery first appeared on the scene back in 1999 when two sisters joined forces to set up their own business. They wanted to produce something innovative and interesting enough to capture the interest of the world of fashion jewellery – they noticed that there was a gap in the market for just this. Since that time they have gone from strength to strength and there is little doubt that Bibi jewellery has been firmly established as a quality provider of luxury items.
Bibi Bijoux Jewellery has an original approach to designing their items. Instead of relying on ideas form a drawing board the designers prefer to create with their hands. This unique way of doing things means that many of the items seem particularly creative – maybe this is something to do with creativity being able to express itself more easily with touch. Bibi jewellery is the type of thing that will capture the eye of strangers and have them asking you questions about where you found such an interesting piece.
The sisters are the main designers for Bibi Alhaja Bijoux jewellery and they refuse to be rushed into creating items. They are firm in their belief that creativity takes time, and sometimes inspiration has to be given space to arrive. The designers claim that this inspiration can eventually come from anywhere. Maybe from looking at the design of traditional jewellery or maybe from something small they notice in nature.
